Stop Trashing Jackson

The week of June 8th-12th the City of Jackson will celebrate the Life of Medgar Evers as we recognize the 60th Anniversary of his Assassination. Hundreds from around the world will arrive in Jackson to be a part of this historic occasion. In preparation of the many events planned throughout the city, Keep Jackson Beautiful, along with the City of Jackson and the Central Mississippi Realtors Association are joining forces for a very special “Stop Trashing Jackson” event. From June 3rd-7th, volunteers will clean and beautify the areas around Medgar Ever’s family home and the community where he once lived and was also tragically killed. Volunteers are needed for each of those days between June 3rd-7th so that we can make sure the area is litter free and ready for these events.
