About Us
Keep Jackson Beautiful (KJB)
Founded in 1964, Keep Jackson Beautiful (KJB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful Jackson. As a local affiliate of Keep Mississippi Beautiful and a certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, we focus on litter cleanup, prevention, education, outreach, and beautification across our capital city.
Our success comes from collaboration—citizens, schools, businesses, civic leaders, and government partners all working together to make a difference. Along the way, KJB has been honored nationally with awards such as the Circle of Excellence and the President’s Circle.
KJB projects are funded through grants, memberships, sponsorships, in-kind services, and local support. We are proud to have strong partners, including Entergy, Niagara, the City of Jackson, Keep Mississippi Beautiful, and the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality.
Join us in keeping Jackson clean, green, and beautiful—for today and for generations to come.
