Martin Luther King Day of Service 2024

Keep Jackson Beautiful and the Junior League of Jackson are teaming up again to organize a day of service to honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We will primarily focus on beautifying around murals that will be unveiled on January 11th. We will remove litter, planting flowers, mulching, edging/cleaning curbs as needed, and work to beautify Freedom Corner.  We will also remove any illegal dumping that are on some of the side streets.  This is a giant task.  Therefore, we will need your assistance. Please sign up to help us make this area beautiful.

Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm.

Please bring anything you have to make this day a success!  Weed eaters, shovels, gloves, safety glasses, litter grabbers other small tools if you have them available. If not we will have them as well.

Deadline to register is Friday, January 12th.

Community Service Hours can be earned. Volunteers of ages 16 and above are needed!
